All about a bunch of wounded people making terrible and unadvised decisions. I realize that suspension of disbelief is necessary at times, but I just could not shake the incredulity. Firth advises Hunt to not date for a year and she asks him if he's hitting on her. What? You'd think that she would have had enough sense to NOT date immediately after the breakup of her marriage, and certainly not the father of one of her students. They begin quarreling and "falling in love" almost immediately. They are both neurotic messes. A teacher might get involved with a parent, however, it is not a good look. When she sleeps over he wants her to lay down with him in the children's bedroom and she does. What? He, BTW, is clearly still angry at his wife and hurt. Why would a woman want to date a guy who was still not over his wife leaving? None of it makes sense.

As much as I love the Divine Miss M, her character was so annoying. Who thinks the child they gave up for adoption 40 years ago is just going to be THRILLED to meet her. She was crossing boundaries all over the place. Bad form all around.

I have to admit that initially I was a bit confused; I suspect that will be most people's first reaction, i.e., what the hell is this all about? However, that is not a good enough reason to get angry and give it a one-star review. I guess some people are just bitter and insecure. Hey, it happens.

I recommend watching Episode One all the way through. By the time I got to the end of the first episode, my interest was piqued. I am anxious to see what happens next.
