There are now, July 31, 2024, eight episodes out. Each episode is approximately 49 to 50 minutes long. Also the person in jail is the sister, not brother. I find the translation between Turkish and English usually do not get the sex of a person correct, calling a sister a brother and vice versa.. i am now watching episode three. The story line is slow so i am going to give the series a chance to get better but we shall see how much longer I watch if the story does not pick up the tempo. I enjoy Turkish series and have been watching them since 2015. I have not seen any of these actors before so I cannot judge if it is the actors or the writers fault the storyline is so slow.
Before starting a Turkish Series I always check IMDb to see how many episodes there are supposed to be and to read the reviews, so I knew the crying going on in the reviews about the ending. But in spite of that i decided to watch the series.
First i will say I think the series is well written. The storyline stays on track and you don't want to skip through the episode. I will say there is a lot of crying but the writers are doing the Turkish customs for a death scene.
I actually think the story ends correctly and the actual ending is a good one. The writers finished the story well. Every episode made sense and carried into the next episode well. This story, as it is written, makes sense. It is not the happiest series i have watched but it does end correctly for the storyline and it is a good ending. I think i made a good decision to watch this series and i did not waste my time.
