I love Johnny Vegas and I would watch him in just about anything. But when you're watching him just be a person, it gets to be a little much. This is hour after hour of his thoughts about whether or not he'll be successful as an antique dealer. He seems constantly offended by his assistant who seems to be the nicest person on Earth.
I mean it's a pop-up, he seems to have worked steady most of his life so I'm not sure there's a lot at stake and if 90% of the show is him saying, "I wonder if I can do this" And it's a 45-minute episode, you watch him tell his assistant that he doesn't need her help and you find out more than that he made $5. I'm not really sure it's a TV show.

I have no idea why they wouldn't continue with such a wonderful series as this. I was obsessed with every episode and it led me to look into it and being American I'd never heard of this.
I can't believe more stories like this aren't told instead of a 17th movie of Spider-Man or whatever. But this was something fascinating and true and heartwarming a legendary cast of actors.
You know it's not too late to bring it back...

I like Richard Harrington and I want him to keep acting. Remember, Zoe falls in love with him in Spooks! He's been in every British show you've ever liked! I want him to keep working.
And yet this is just absolutely! The worst of the worst because it's so bland. It's one of those shows where you think. Why didn't they at least make it a little bit funny because that's really what it needs.
I always wonder why we devotees of the genre dont get a better police procedure because I think since we all know it inside and out, we could have a lot more fun than we do. I'd like to see the same show, but they make fun of all the typical tropes.
If they're just going to be kind of noir and bland, what's the point? Give us more of the Welsh language and more humor please.
I'm also not going to finish watching this because I would never get through it. It just doesn't matter.
