I really like the beginning of this series, it started strong, set a tense atmosphere and characters development but it started to grow slow with repetitive and increasingly predictable events. While the main events got spaced way to apart and allow a lot of fillers to be inserted to make this a series with many different episodes. This would be a strong 2 hour horror movie instead of a series, and they should have focused more on the ''strangers'' that appear leaving an mythical and paranormal hint to hit. Some episodes purposed contradictory and not plausible explanations and some actors were not appealing.
Definitely a netflix effort to keep launching new material in another contract with Kevin. Look its watchable, it has good actors but the execution and writing was sloppy stitched together.
Kevin carries this from beginning to the end, even Mark doesn't shine here, but even with Kevin because of the sloppy writing, it breaks soon the good premise of having the stay-at-home dad needing some relaxation with a wild friend.
Personally I'm a big fan of Kevin's work and comedy, but I'm afraid he might become another Melissa McCarthy which we already know what type of humor will be seen and it becomes repetitive, so I would definitely appreciate more versatile growth in comedy styles for Kevin moving forward.
Analyzing by ACT's the 1st was the strongest and more coherent and funny, than it went downhill from there, getting the last act which could have been trimmed into a shorter movie.

I postponed watching this previously as I believed it was too slow or without any horror factor. But I decided to give it a chance recently, and it was definitely worth it, caught my interest, it builds up character rapport, it conceals very well the twist with minimum CGI. Some episodes could have been trimmed has there is repetitive or prolonged dialogue .
