The film has it's moments, and some of the cameos and returning characters were cool to see as well. But a majority of the movie is basically the same as the first with a slightly different concept, and a pretty cliché one. A lot of bits from the original movie recycled, and the new bits are pretty predictable.

Certainly not terrible, but it's pretty typical Adam Sandler humor. I don't think it really lives up to the hype, and it's nothing close to the original film for me.

It makes me SO angry that this is so praised and popular right now. There are important scenes skipped, characters that were either missing, drastically changed, or had very little screen time. Plus, a COMPLETELY different and RIDICULOUS ending that totally kills the set-up for sequels and shows that follow the original!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously! I do not understand how THAT is a better ending, or WHY it needed to change AT ALL!!!!! Apparently Disney is out of original ideas, and instead of just admitting it, they'd rather slowly fade themselves out by ruining their best movies. Stitch is cute, and I can give credit to the animation crew, but overall, I still think this movie is disgusting, and didn't need to be made in the first place!

I guess there's nothing really wrong with the movie itself. The effects are awesome, the tornadoes look more realistic, and the actors do fine. But I thought the general storyline, the scenes in between the tornado chases, and most of the characters were really boring.

The 96' movie is a classic and one of my all-time favorites. This one doesn't even come remotely close to it for me, and I just see it as (maybe not so much fixing what isn't broken, because it's not a re-make), but an addition that no one really asked for. But I'll still give credit when it's due, and I'll give it to the actors and the CGI effects. Not so much for the rest of the movie.

Just my thoughts of course, I hope you enjoyed it more.
