I was a big anime fan, then during covid I became a big manga fan. Now, I am totally enamored by such a wonderful adaptation of the source Material. Everyone is bringing their A-Game. Inaki is Luffy, I will never not hear his voice when I read one piece now. Mackenyu and Emily Rudd are perfect as both Zoro and Nami, with consistently great performances through all 8 episodes. Jacob as Usopp makes me care about the character and Taz Skylar is the gold standard of Live Action adaptations. My only wish would be for more of Sanji, but here's hoping for a quick renewal so we can follow these characters through the grand line and beyond.
Nobody expects much from Hawkeye. Clint Barton is the Avenger Marvel Studios forgot but trust me when I say, Marvel hasn't been this fun in years! Sure Shang-Chi was a good laugh, but this series feels like peak iron man/ant man humour without overdoing it at all. The tone is brilliantly set, the story is pretty dark, but against the Christmas backdrop hits perfectly!
Let's not forget the performers. Jeremy Renner has always been great for Hawkeye, but until now has never had his time to shine and along side Hailee Steinfeld, well prepare yourself for marvels best double act ever!

Look, I'm a Lifelong Star wars fan. And I always thought Boba Fett was cool, but they didn't need to bring him back in the Mandalorian and they really didn't need to then give him his own spinoff! That being said it was a good opening episode. Ming-Na Wen will always be a standout in anything she's in and this is no exception. Whilst I can't stand here and say there's anything wrong with the episode as I did enjoy it all, there just wasn't enough for me to rank it any higher.
