  • Bloody entertaining!

How the hell did this movie get no attention? It's probably one of the best action horror works in the last 5 years. Straight, simple and an original plot that keeps you on your toes throughout. Not one second I was bored with it. Extremely entertaining and no agenda pushing like literally every other movie of the genre these days. Just a story of a guy who's trying to get out of a messy situation. That's it. You're simply there for the ride along.

It's sad that movies like this gets no attention anymore. Because 20 years ago, people would've called a movie like this an all time classic. Watch it with no hesitation especially if you're a fan of the genre.

  • How to train your Sea Beast?

Probably one of the best visuals in an animation. But that's probably where it stops. There's little to no originality in this one and in classic Netflix fashion, it tries to shove down a load of completely irrelevant topics down the viewer's throat. Which in this case is likely to be a kid who's simply trying to enjoy a fantasy movie. It's also quite slow and long. I don't mind long but when it feels slow it starts to become annoying.

If the message you're trying to deliver becomes so obvious to the point that even the plot of the story gets overshadowed by it, I'd say that's a flop. Especially in a fantasy animation where you have so much freedom and things to work with.

The soundtrack was also noticably dull for a movie of this theme. The sole reason of this rating is the visual aspect of it.

  • Best Predator movie to date.

There I said it. I will always have respect for the original movie to bringing the concept into life but for me, this one takes the top spot as the better movie. Everything about this movie is perfect. The story, the cast, the acting, the CGI, the soundtrack, the action, and yes even the runtime. Don't listen to reviews saying it's too low. It's just not. It doesn't have to be. I also loved the way they updated the Predator's design. Here I was thinking that it couldn't get any uglier.

The way this movie got practically no promo and no theatrical release is absolutely tragic. It's basically made to view in a theater. Definitely recommend watching this if you like action sci-fi. You don't even have to be a Predator fan to love this one.
