Shane Meadows makes it were you become involved,you can feel the character,this is a absolute master piece
Stephen Graham is excellent as always ,Helen Behan is excellent too here and the surprise I think is that Niamh Algar was able to Act in the same level as the other 2 Actors here,She really is someone to watch im sure there will be big things for her in the future,the rest of that cast are also excellent,It can be slow at times but that is deliberate ,fantastically done in every detail,the only one I found out of place was the way the stout was pulled in the pub otherwise flawless,I just dont know what to watch now as having watched this , This is England 90 and Chernobyl in the last 3 days ,where does one go next.
Classic T.V. this programme watch it and experience
I must live under a rock having never heard about this show and only coming across it due to discovering The Virtues and checking out Shane Meadows.
I am currently watching this and am watching episode 3 where they all sit and have the talk around the table,This could be the Greatest emotional piece of film I have ever experienced.If anyone hasn't seen this then do your self a favour and check it out.Shane Meadows is a Genius and the cast are brilliant 10/10
