Cutterhead (2018)
An industrial accident occurs underground and people are trapped. The fear of death and the fight for survival are realistically based and not portrayed in an over the top fashion, like in many disaster movies. This is probably what would happen in real life. If you are looking for spectacle, seek out any recent catastrophe movie by Dwayne Johnson. This is more low key and in some ways uneventful, yet will still manage to hold your attention throughout. The filming in real locals gives the film a sense of realism and later, dread. 8 out of 10 stars.

A man alone spends some time out in the wilderness. He wakes up one morning to discover he is being stalked. A slow moving effort that doesn't really go anywhere. It only gets moderately interesting toward the end. I wanted more tension and action. What did y'all think? 4 out of 10 stars.

Sleep Tight (2011)
A man obsessed with a woman will do anything to control her life. He's like the Hannibal Lector of creepy stalker movies. He is very smart and plots his devious plans with care. I even kind of rooted for him a little bit here and there. This is a tense, nail biting, and well crafted movie with a few unexpected things to look forward to as well. I wondered and worried about what was going to happen next throughout the whole movie. Please, please, PLEASE give this one a chance, even if you do not like foreign films. It'll be worth it. I promise. 9 out of 10 stars.
