Alright the premise is reasonable, but the resultant loss of communications loses me. In the country that helped Marconi in his development with radio communications and the fact that Navy, Army and Air Force all rely on radio communications, surely communications would be patched using military networks and not rely on a group of civilians?

I must have blinked and missed the funny bit(s). Bland, although Rob Lowe as a full of it actor tries to pull it through. Watched 1 1/2 episodes and I am surprised it wasn't ditched sooner!
