In general, this movie is at a very mediocre cult horror thriller. It's very hit or miss as the story goes along. It also has some issues with the casting as well as the pacing, but when it hits, it's impactful.
The story is decent enough with a message about superstar cult personalities which have become more and more prevalent in today's society. It has potential, but it tries too hard to be the next Midsomar. If it would've been its own thing, it might've been a little better.
To me the pacing felt a bit off. It had some very action pack moments, coupled with very dull moments. The first two acts were a bit dull, but it did set the stage for the third act, which was very fast paced.
However, I was not a fan of the lead and most of the cast for that matter,. She had a good arc, but in general, her acting wasn't great and I wasn't overly impressed with her. John Malkovich is always good and he played a good crazy sort of cult leader. All the other side characters were very forgettable. Very generic and cliché.
The film itself is okay, but it has some glaring deficiencies which bring it down a bit.

I'm a huge Coen brothers fan so I was hoping it would be good, but unfortunately it's not the same without the other brother. I'm not saying it's a bad movie, but it's definitely not as good as the other Coen brother movies have been.
The story itself was good. The first act was kind of iffy and I wasn't sure about the movie but once we got into the second and third act, it really got better. The story was good and I had a pretty surprise and twist at the end. It also had some pretty dark comedy, but was still decently funny.
The characters were great and well casted. Especially the main character Honey, Margaret Qualley did a great job with this character. The side characters were memorable and interesting. I did really enjoy Chris Evans as the pastor. He does play a good scumbag. However, a big issue I saw with the film was there were no character arcs or development for anyone.
Overall, it was a pretty good movie, definitely not up to the standards of a Coen Brothers movie but still good enough.

Caught stealing is a pretty enjoyable crime thriller. In general, I was getting a lot of guy Ritchie vibes, but not as good as guy himself.
Nothing in this film really broke the mold or made it stand out in anyway, but the cast of characters was good. Austin Butler did a good job as the lead. His ark was pretty enjoyable.
In terms of production value, it was pretty decent.
The story itself was good, but predictable and pretty cliché in terms of structure and resolution. Essentially it was a typical heroes journey quest set in what looked like 1990s New York City.
