Some bad acting at times but overall it is a unique story with some big actors. I guess I'm a little biased also being from a small Indiana town close to Huntingburg. The chemistry between Minnie Driver and Christian Slater is good. I like the overall action of this film. The cops ending up being the crooks surprised me some but Randy Quaid makes a good villain. I would like to see some more movies like this. Taking place in a small town but with some kind of odd situation like a weather event that ultimately turns it into a ghost town with the occasional shootout or two. Let's strive for that.
Honestly watched this because of the game of thrones connection with Nicolaj and Carice but the acting is cringey, especially the fighting scenes. Not a terrible plot but this film lacked so many other things...also a little random for Guy Pearce to appear in this.
The reality of the fear in the left winged nuts was on display in this season and more specifically this episode. Their "fears" in banning gay marriages obviously didn't happen...but they were so vulnerable and I think it was really captured in this entire season. This is my second favorite AHS season out of the entire show behind Asylum!
