FilmyPhantom's rating
It's truly a shame because the story holds so much potential, but the film's execution ends up feeling tedious and underwhelming. Several flaws detract from the experience, including sluggish pacing, inconsistent lighting, and-most notably-the lack of meaningful character backstories. The first half drags, failing to build momentum or intrigue. A flashback sequence for Sarah, the protagonist, could have provided much-needed depth, clarifying her connection to the eerie setting.
While the second half improves slightly with a few thrilling moments, the overall narrative leaves too many questions unanswered. Key plot points-such as the origin of the evil force and the mystery behind the children's disappearances-are never explained, leaving viewers frustrated. Additionally, the poor lighting in several scenes obscures crucial details, making it difficult to follow the action.
Given these shortcomings, I would rate this film a 3 out of 10.

Very nice effort by director Ravi Udyawar. It is one of the most sensitive and realistic Hindi movies that I have seen in a long time. Almost all the actors have done justice to there roles. Sridevi as we all know was an amazing actress and she did an excellent job once again. Nawazuddin appeared in a cameo all did very well, but the most impressive of the lot was Sajal Ali, she was exceptional with her expressions sometime she did not even speak but her eyes tells the pain and anger that she was going through. Adnan Siddiqui also was impressive.
Mediocre script and predictable plot is what makes this film not worth watching. There are lots of confuse characters in this movie. The main female lead (Hareem Farooq), is I don't know why is worried about her son's reaction toward her relationship with lead male (Adeel Hussain), on the other hand her son simple adore Adeel Hussain.
Acting mediocre at times and general execution and direction of this movie is dull. The editing was choppy as well. The only plus point of this move is its cinematography which is really good.
After watching some recent release's that the Pakistan film industry has to offer this effort fell far below to what else is out there.
