This was a fascinating film for two reasons: the countryside is completely all consuming and the speed of gun loading becomes quite an interesting element. The characters were a little cardboard but with the two interesting elements, the rest of the film flows through. There were a number of interesting twists but the story remains relatively linear.

I have to agree with the other reviews that noted the main character didn't quite produce the depth needed for this film. The writing was strong. Most of the characters' pulled their part. But the lead was a bit of a miss.

This film was surprisingly good. I bought it on iTunes and have watched it a few times to get different elements. It does have an amateur dramatic group feeling to it but I think that plays well into the feeling of the film.
