I have NEVER jumped up out of my chair clapping and laughing for any movie or TV before Conbra Kai. I'd not watched a single show until Feb 2022, but I'd heard so many good comments so I gave in and turned on the first episode. I watched the entire first season without stopping. I have never done that. I didn't leave the television. I identified with Johnny more than Daniel but the juxtaposition of them and their different lives has so much relevance and just proves my age old saying, high school never ends...ever. The kids on the show are absolutely adorable and great actors. It has something for young, old, nerdy, cool, freak, thug, and everything in-between. More GenZs need to watch this, because it is real world stuff. A masterpiece melding of the classic 80s into the current time in the coolest Valley of them all. Johnny, Daniel and Hawk, you rock. Karate Kid will live forever. No joke.
Scene after scene of mind numbingly boring events with occasional and rare moments of fan boy, read useless, reflections on the real Star Wars movies. George Lucas shouldve never sold his IP to the depraved Disney company. It's going along and all of a sudden I guess the main actor got covid or something and the story shift to the Mandalorian. I keep switching back and forth. I don't wanna see that hack actor as the Mandalorian. I hate that I wasted any time watching this.
This movie is horrible except for one car chase scene. Bond never gets the girl. Acts like a sissy. Doesn't effectively deal with the bad guy. On and on to a miserable unsatisfying ending. They should've left it at Spectre with the apprehension of Blofeld and 007 quitting to be with Madeleine. Done. We don't need any more. Choose carefully the next Bond Ms Broccoli. You go woke, and we will make you lose a lot of money very quickly and will destroy the brand like we did to Star Wars. Sometimes the old ways are the best ways. Sometimes. And this is one of those times.
