I have seen other documentaries regarding the biblical plagues and the exodus. I found them quite fascinating and interesting. Not to sound too racist but a group German scholars coming up with a new "historical" spin on the plagues and the exodus kinda smacks of the way things were about eighty years ago in that country. You can watch it for yourself but that's my take on this questionable documentary series.

I have never seen a program whose facts and situations were so out of sync with the actual history. And it is not like this is some obscure historical event, you can watch many excellent programs on WW2, but this ain't one of them.

I enjoy Jeremy Renner but how did he get sucked into this. Jeremy, brother, you should have cracked a book and told these people rewrite this or get someone else. This is bad for your reputation.

This was a lot of fun. No real political bend except that sleazy politicians are everywhere and always manage to screw everything up out of their ego being much larger than abilities. That said, it was a fast paced, short episodes, a little over 30 minutes each so you don't get bored, that was just a really enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. So in closing, watch it, there are worse ways to spend about 5 hours of streaming.
