This was poorly written and poorly edited. The first 2/3 of the documentary were basically pictures and videos of naked men, with 2 or 3 sentences of dialogue in between. Sometimes about race, sometimes about gay culture, sometimes about sexual harassment...The whole thing felt like ADHD-all over the place. Obviously we all know the racist tones of 2000's A&F, but even at the end, when they begrudgingly acknowledge the company is trying to turn things around, they basically end the entire show with comments saying it can't be done. You're right. It can't be done. Because our country won't let it. We keep pumping out garbage like this to keep the anger going. What's waste of 1.5 hours.
This is an interesting series, with some fun nostalgic moments. But don't think for a second this isn't completely and so obviously biased-even the music score plays into their agenda during the political episodes. However, since "truth" is no longer a term the media is concerned about I knew what we would be getting into when we started.
