  • Interesting Market But Annoying Hosts

Interesting to see Palm Springs area properties, and the Bennetts seem to address the market well. The episodes I've seen so far focus on affordable homes with realistic profits. I like that they actually show some negative comments at the open houses, which makes the show more believable. We've all got different tastes after all. I would love to see them take on some more expensive properties as well so we could get a rounded out idea of PS real estate. I love a modern take on Mid Century Modern so I thought I'd be blown away by their designs but I'm not. That's not the most important part of a flipping project though - making a profit is. The Bennetts seem to find buyers and make a profit, so they're doing their thing right but I would still love to be rewarded with some "Wow!" designs. My only hesitation with this show is I find Eric and Lindsey annoying. Eric is constantly the class clown and Lindsey seems unnatural and constantly giggling. I don't really want cute when I'm watching a flipping show. I would like it more if they'd be more confident in their professional prowess and cut out the cutesy, But I'll keep watching.

  • Love A Woman Who Can Quote Reno Costs

I'm in disagreement with all of the Aubrey haters in the reviews here. This woman knows her market, knows her buyers, and knows how to accurately estimate renovation costs. The point of flipping a house to is to upgrade it as much as possible in order to still make profit and keep it within the price range for the neighborhood otherwise it won't appraise and it won't sell. So if you want to see a high priced reno this is not your show and it doesn't pretend to be. The F or F Vegas shows I've seen so far involve lower cost renovations but that's because they're in "starter" neighborhoods. The purpose of the show is to successfully flip a house quickly for a profit. It would be pretty stupid to spend $100,000 renovating a house in a $200,000 neighborhood. I love to see Aubrey look at a room and figure a rough reno cost right there, then move on to the next room. I think she and Bristol know what they're doing and do it well. A successful flipper knows their market, and this is Las Vegas so they are making style choices for younger Vegas buyers. Their houses seem to sell quickly and near asking price and they get the work done on time. That's the point of flipping a house. And please, do we have to subject women to a thorough analysis of her hair color, style, voice, smile etc., while ignoring her intelligence? I don't notice men on TV being viciously critiqued for their voice, hair style, color, wardrobe or smile.Yikes - it's a flipping show folks.
