Humming while I move my finger up and down as fast as possible.
I began to feel the impulse to do this about 1/2 way through episode 4 when I asked myself, "What have I been watching for the last 3 1/2 hours?" And I didn't have any answer except to tell myself that this series must be a sci-fi, mystery, crime, time-traveling, bull-riding rodeo, cowboy western, range war, hiking, camping outdoors, rock hound, musical.
And that's when it hit me that after episode 4 finishes, I'm going to skip over to season two and watch the last two episodes there, and if that effort causes my brain to congeal all of this into something I can follow, then I will circle back to where I left off in season one and continue.
If not, I will cease this series, and drive to Taco Bell and buy myself a plain bean burrito as a reward for my effort.
... The burrito was good.
Buzzzthrrrppp...ppp.ppp..ppp...

What is down in the well comes up in the bucket!
It does not matter how sweet the water should be, just a a few drops of raw feces will ruin it. This work is full of the sewage of half-truths and diversion. Hollywood always depends that the insipience of its audiences will enable them to "enjoy" drinking the mix and rating the experience highly.

Obviously I am a man, and will say without any hesitation that we are hooked on this series! My wife and I are best friends and there is nothing more we enjoy than finding a good British series to immerse ourselves together. We have done this for many years, initially finding them in our travels to Britain, and find that British shows seem to "out weigh" our American television on many levels.
The subject matter is really unique and absorbing and the acting superb! The complexity of the characters and their interaction, the humor, the secrets, the context, and the weight and undercurrents of its gracious messages have impacted us and continue to do so.
So many times it seems that these British series don't last and are canceled just as we are dedicated to them. It is rewarding to see "Call the Midwife" continuing on and we hope it does so for many years to come. We will continue to be fans as long as "Call the Midwife" lives!
