I really like Carr's classic material, but recently he has just ... stopped being funny. His newer jokes seem like dull, uninspired versions of his oldermaterial mixed with attempts at US style comedy. The crowd work stuff is simply painful. No idea what happened, but based on everything I have seen of him lately, he should maybe go into another creative profession.

Is no one able to write a female lead that isn't an incredibly annoying, idiotic emotional wreck?

The first two episodes are okay, but it does downhill at breakneck speed in the third one and only gets worse after.

In the end, the story is dumb and incomplete, with half-baked supernatural elements and characters. The camerawork is a bit irritating and the acting is mediocre.

Went in expecting a romantic thriller of some kind and was pleasantly surprised. The story is standard horror gaming fare mixed with a shallow tale about love, but the visuals are strong and the acting is okay. A bit too long perhaps, especially with the ending being very generic. All in all though, entertaining.
