I could not sit through one episode, what are they thinking? Star Wars does not need to be targeted directly to 5 year olds. A whole generation fell in love with the star wars universe in the 70's and no kids were involved.
The whole idea that a bunch of inept kids can outwit and outmuscle seasoned adult fighters is just too stupid and insulting to a star wars fan and insulting to anyone unless you want stupid scenarios akin to "Saved by the bell".
Disney is destroying a cult universe and will not make any profits or newest generation fans by producing this garbage. The original Star Wars appealed across the generations, to adults for its mature content and to kids for its imaginative adventurous universe. When you start solely directing to little children, when they grow up they will drop star wars and remember it as a show for little kids - i.e. How to end a 50 year old franchise - just ask Disney. Grow up Disney, star wars is not yours to destroy.

Wow, how awesome was this series! The story was captivating and characters compelling. The animation was subtly varied but was spot on in the story-telling. Historically, even though fictional, it was in the ball park. It was well researched, and even though I am no expert, it was relatively accurate with the historical details. The music score was almost perfect. I am a bit pedantic and prefer period music of the period being presented, this is my only slight complaint; however, being 'slight' modern music only came into it a couple of times but at least where from Japanese artists. The rest of the score was traditional style Japanese and exciting and really built the scenes. Of course there were some, if not quite a few, unrealistic moments, but hey, it's animation.
It is very adult, but the scenes were well crafted and used appropriately to add to the story.
Can't wait for season 2 and more.
