The only reason this gets 3 stars is because the CGI backdrop is absolutely stunning.
But what is the point of a beautiful background if what's happening in front of it is utter rubbish?
This show is nothing but a disjointed sequence of overused TV tropes and an insult to source material.
How can you take an engrossing work of epic prorations and turn it into something this boring and trivial? Have the writers even read the books this is meant to be based on?
The only thing the show characters have in common with their book counter parts is names. Otherwise they are unrecognisable. Also they are either boring or plain unlikable.
I stick with it for 4 episodes, I wish I could get my time back.

It does start off a bit slow but does improve in later episodes.
