As a big time Kevin Hart fan, this was horrible to watch and this hurts me to say. I've always felt that his stand gets worse the richer he gets. This confirmed it. In 30 minutes, I didn't laugh once. Can't be the same Kevin from the his earlier work. I fell asleep and was very disappointed. This is a big miss and he needs to go back to the drawing board and figure out what works.

So I didn't want to check the show out for obvious reasons but I was convinced to do so. I was highly impressed. To me, it's more realistic than the original and besides Will Smith said this was a re-imagining not a reboot. However I do think the political views can be toned down though. They don't have to be forced down out throats but overall, it's worth a watch.

So before I watched the movie, I read most of the reviews which were pretty bad. But being a huge scrubs fan, I just had to check out Zach Braff and Gabrielle Union. I went in with an open mind anyways. I found the movie wholesome and fun for the entire family. Don't get me wrong, it won't win any oscars but it was nice to see a modern remake from a different angle. It probably just got bad reviews because it's a remake of a beloved movie. I highly recommend it for a family night though.
