  • Negative reviews are completely unfair

It is a shame they canceled this series. I lived the 70s rock n'roll, and it is the way it was. I lived with those people. Totally authentic. Smoking cigarettes, drugs, the music, the clothing, the "scene", the all of it. Does anyone think that Mick Jagger wouldn't know how to authentically portray the 70s? Martin Scorsese is brilliant. Mick Jagger's son is amazing. The story line is believable and I felt it the entire way through.

  • Soooo disappointed

Full disclosure: I only got to the first canned laughter line and turned it off. Why would anyone put these great actors, great story line and use a great independent venue like Netflix and then add cheesy canned laughter? I ask you that. The thought of listening online to canned laughter (may as well add in annoying commercials every 7 minutes) when I come to online to get away from it, is something I simply won't do. I don't watch movies if they have commercials, and I don't watch sitcoms if the producers can't figure out that there is no need for pretend people pretend laughing at pretend moments. All the best sitcoms no longer use it - Modern Family, The Larry Sanders Show, The Middle, and this one doesn't need it. It always feels to me like the producers don't have enough faith in their product to let it stand alone without encouragement from a fake audience.

    Blecchhh!
