It will reel any intelligent movie lover in within the first few minutes and as the storyline unfolds it changes direction unexpectedly, and then change again, and changes again right up until the very last moments of this cinematic crime fantasy. Driven by exceptional writing, experienced direction, then presented flawlessly to you and I by seasoned actors and actresses for our private viewing pleasure. A wonderful gift that we were lucky enough to stumble upon and get to watch. Bon Appetit!

12-08-2025 - I've watched this 2017 movie several times and each time I'm hooked early on by the old man who lives on the frozen lake with his granddaughter, each other their only living relative. She's a beautiful child, living in poverty, probably about 6 years old? Her stage name in this movie is Naru, her real name Jo-ah-in a South Korean actress about 15 years old now. Within a few minutes of the start she is left alone in the cold of icy winter on the edge of a frozen lake to fend for herself and the movie moves on with no further information as to what happens to her until much, much later. The few times she's included in the scenes her acting is perfect and every time I want to bring her home to a warm house, fatten her up, make her feel safe in a warm comfy bed and get her off into a new school where i know she'll make many new friends. The rest of the movie you can read about in the other Imdb reviews. It's a decent movie and easily holds any reasonable human beings interest all the way through. Crybabies will always find fault and do. I'm glad that it's now over and she survives for mememe all-over-again. For certain I'll watch this movie some time again in my future. Needless to say it's definitely worth any movie lovers time to watch especially those who favor children, that's my guarantee! Bon Appetit!

12-05-2025 - Only the reviews that I read before watching forced me to continue past the half way point. If you enjoy F-bombs on overload by three chain smoking, going nowhere in life losers, slobbering the booze, playing off of each other for over half of this movie ("NOTHING" else happened - NOTHING!!!) Then, all three, almost instantly turn into bad-*** wanna-be-killers. This movie could have easily been condensed into a 10-minute movie and you would have missed nothing. Watchable? Yes! Good-Great? Not by a long shot. Pretty SUK in my book of good movies. I do "NOT"/can not/will not recommend any low life trash movie like this to any decent human being. I call these movies "Nothing Movies", never to watch again. Bon Appetit.
