The narrative zigzagged through genres without warning. It plunged into the tense drama. This erratic genre-hopping resulted in a story that lacked direction and coherence.
It's possible that the erratic pacing and tone were due to the director's inability to harness the film's dynamic. However, the writing also played a part in the film's shortcomings. The humor often missed the mark, the plot developments seemed contrived, and the storyline progressed awkwardly. The performances, while earnest, were unable to transcend the script's limitations.
In all honesty, this movie falls short of being a worthwhile watch, even as a last-ditch option. It fails to engage, to the point where I found myself longing for the simple joy of reading a book-a desire that speaks volumes about the film's lack of entertainment value.
The production of such a movie is perplexing, especially in an era where streaming platforms and direct-to-DVD releases are abundant. This trend may contribute to the declining standards of film quality and the drop in cinema ticket sales. Experiencing this disappointment at home was bad enough; I can only imagine the regret of spending money to watch it in a theater.
Should you find yourself with no alternatives for entertainment, you might consider watching this film. But be prepared: there's a good chance you'll be tempted to switch it off in favor of something-anything-more engaging.

I was impressed watching the way it took off. One character at a time, it kept developing. The fantasy was top-notch, plot like never before. It gave the traditional superheroes' genre, a new look. Season began exciting. Few characters, mostly Jos, were perfect. Innovative, good story, slick CGI, great cliff-hangers.
The concept of this show is about girls with special electric powers similar to mutants in the Marvel universe. And how the characters cope with it and what they decide to do with it. Is probably the most compelling pilot I've seen this year. Although the show's concept is sort of a kind of the X-Men concept of people evolving to have super powers, I have to admit it was enjoyable.
The acting was all very well done as were the slices of life that introduced you to each character. The effects are kept very low-key making it more believable than the typical super hero show. There is a great underlying darkness that permeates as well, giving one the feeling that some very bad things are about to happen. If you haven't seen it give it a try. It's a very good show so far and only promises to get better.

What happend to America? People giving those baseless reviews, it lets me to believe they are simply unhappy with their own life. There are actors, director, producers, writers and many crew members working hard to please us with this great movie and you find hateful and ungreatful reviewers out of spite? Why did you watch it in the first place? I am assuming that you loved the 1st one and were excited to see the 2nd one, right? I suggest to these low reviewers to stop spreading feelings of hate and revenge, and please show some respect to the whole team that made this movie possible
