Cameron is sent to straight camp after being found kissing her girlfriend in a car. I really wanted to like this movie, but as often happens with gay movies the script didn't deliver. Cameron is not going to be broken, the head of the institution clearly has no idea what he's doing, one of the pupils hurts himself... all ideas that should have been developed, but are just delivered flat to the audience. Underwhelming.
This series is at first just bizarre... You are hooked, but you don't even know why. After a while it becomes a big journey in psychotherapy's land: schizophrenia, fear of loss, all your problems come from mum, reconnect with your inner self to solve Ali your problems and alike. Very heavy story wonderfully told. I give it only 9/10 because the last 2 episodes are a bit rushed and the end a bit too feel good for my taste.
I must have watched this movie over 10 times and it never disappoints. If you are looking for a feel good movie where the teen rebel boy and teen rebel girl turn out to be sweet kids and live happily ever after (or presumably till college time) this is for you.
