This isn't horrible as direct-to-video ripoffs go, but it's still a direct-to-video rip-off. As expected, it suffers from lackluster production values, a story that can't last a full hour, and one-note characters. If I were you, I'd skip this one. Just rent the Disney movie instead.

I didn't like the first film, but there's a huge difference between that and this. The first film was bad. This one is terrible. It is literally one of the worst animated films of the decade. It's not as bad as Norm of the North, but it shares most of the same problems. Why people seem to hate Norm but not Cloudy 2 is beyond me, because they're basically the same movie. They have a similar plot, similar character animation, and similar humor. The characters are mostly non-entities, and the character animation makes me sick. If you get a copy of this movie, best to just throw it away.

While not everything he makes is gold, Mr. Enter is an insightful and talented critic. And I really appreciate the existence of a review show dedicated to the forgotten gems of animation history, though with exceptions. Enter does an excellent job of articulating what the entries do well. If I have one complaint, it's that the reviews contain spoilers, but otherwise, an amazing review show.
