Another masterpiece of an episode. The opening scene before the Title Card is, in my opinion, one of the best. All of my predicted favorite book scenes for this episode were executed far beyond my expectations. Connor and Hudson remain the stars of the episode with brilliant performances. The story stays very true to the book, and some parts are even developed in more interesting ways without straying from the essence of the plot.
We all knew this episode would cover the whole Boston - Tuna Melt sequence and the Rose Saga, but I was genuinely thrilled by the opening montage. It beautifully captured their encounters over the span of two years and presented them in such an epic way. Easily one of the best opening montages in the series.
The inclusion of the Shane and Hayden scene at the Biodome was also a great choice. To me, it works as a precursor, showing that Shane was still trying to pursue women due to the pressure he felt at the time. On top of that, the brief scene of Ilya watching Shane do yoga in the cabin was a nice touch.
Two small moments, but both are deeply connected to the overall narrative and true to the book that adds the meaningful layers to the story.
The only thing that makes me sad is just one: why is it only 42 minutes? It should've been over an hour. I still want to see Ilya and Shane getting jealous of each other.

Sumpah ini ngakak skali. Humornya bikin pecah satu bioskop.
Seriously, this is probably film paling ngakak yang pernah saya tonton di bioskop. Humornya gila, konyol tanpa ampun. Punchline-nya bertubi-tubi bikin sakit perut. Brutal.
Salah satu film paling lucu yang pernah saya tonton di bioskop. Menyala!

Still ongoing, but what a show. Jacob Tierney, Wow. Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams, Wow. Truly breathtaking performances. How did they manage to do this and have chemistry this insanely tight? It's crazy.
I really love the book, and at first I kept my expectations in check because "usually," in my opinion, book adaptations tend to end up worse than the book. But this one is completely surpassed my expectations. Most of the scenes I pictured in my head when I first read the book actually came to life in this series (at least the first 2 episodes) and somehow they're even more satisfying than what I imagined.
The performances from the two leads are incredibly believable, the chemistry is absolutely wild, I was grinning awkwardly to myself for the entire two hours, and the sex scenes? Wtf? It's like they were translated straight from the book. Super hot and exactly how it should be, because sex is a core part of their journey.
There are still episodes left, and I'm sure it's only going to get better, especially "The Cottage" episode.
