I am a huge fan of Liane Moriarty and have read all her books. The Last Anniversary is a great adaptation of the book and follows the story closely. The scenery is magnificent and the acting is superb, thanks to the strength of the actresses portraying the female characters. There are so many layers to this story and so many secrets on Scrubby Gum Island. The mystery is revealed as slowly as we learn details about each of the family members.
I watched the series over two days and was sad to say goodbye to the island and its inhabitants. So much to like about this series with themes of love, family, betrayal, forgiveness, new beginnings and being true to ones self.

I'm a fan of Rom Coms but this did not deliver. Sam Heughan is adorable but has no chemistry with Pryanka Chopra. He had better chemistry with Celine Dion. Celine is the highlight of the movie with her acting and music! The premise of the movie is forced and some of the situations make no sense. It was easy to predict how all this would unfold and I begrudgingly watched it until the end. I'm afraid that the casting was all wrong. No disrespect to Pryanka, but I enjoyed her scenes with Joe Jonas more than the storyline with Sam. It's as if neither Sam nor Pryanka had their heart in this project.
Such a beautiful and emotional love story. We get a glimpse of the back stories of Queen Charlotte, Lady Danbury and Lady Violet. I didn't want it to end and when it did, I was in tears. I love the representation of all the female lead actresses. Such a display of strength, determination, and self-worth. If you're a hopeless, romantic, and Bridgerton fan, then this series is definitely for you. You will be enchanted by the wigs, costumes, palace, and fabulous galas. The acting is spot on, and we are convinced about all the characters' motivation to succeed in this society. Of course, there is another wonderful soundtrack to accompany the series.
