A beautiful movie with beautiful acting. Even though Chris Pine's part is not so demanding he still hits a home run. He adds something very special to the movie. A real revelation, didn't know that he could act this well. Elizabeth Banks nails her more demanding part perfectly, another revelation. And Michelle Pfeiffer, well, what can you say.. she's just wonderful Michelle Pfeiffer! Kudos to Olivia Wilde as well, who always delivers.
Can't understand why this lovely and heartfelt story didn't score higher though... too much real-life family and feelings, and too little action, sex, drama and hollywood endings for all the 30+ men I guess. (Girls, please get in here and vote. Pleaaase.)

A quirky, darling, out of the ordinary film about very ordinary things presented in a very humorous and surprisingly original fashion. With perfect tempo and perfect length. Leaves you with a smile and your heart tingling (with zero schmaltz). Has a touch of genius. A rare little gem. Highly recommended!
