Cold Case was one of my favorite shows back in the day. This episode in particular is the most memorable. Kathryn Morris' character, Lily Rush reveals a bit of her own past in this episode and it resonates deeply. The episode's main characters, Rosie and Toya, are equally heartbreaking. The ending had me crying as much as when I first saw this episode. I have rewatched this series in its entirety at least twice over the years and I started watching them again last night. They never get old. The music in each episode and the flashbacks to the earlier times are one of the main reasons this show worked so well. I wish it had continued as long as SVU has. All the characters are great.
I am not sure why everyone is panning this film. I thought it was interesting. Ben Affleck was very effective in this role. The viewer can empathize with him over his wife's seemingly trashy ways. But then one wonders why he doesn't divorce her. There lies the question.. the plot winds around this question. Tracy Letts was excellent also. I thought there was wry humor in a few places that
makes one snicker. Gone girl similarities with this film. Engaging, but can someone please tell me what's up with the snails? Vic's affection for these snails gave me Buffalo Bill vibes with his fascination of the death's head moth. It did have me running to Google to verify Vic's fun fact about starving snails before cooking them.
