I have seen this show some years back off and on and then now again felt like seeing it. While the concept is fair, the show after one or two seasons is a repetition and going from dumb to dumber and more.
The worst part is CBI, they are never right, they never know the killer, actually they are clueless from start till end. You are left thinking 'WHAT WOULD CBI DO WITHOUT JANE." or rather "WHAT CBI DID BEFORE JANE JOINED'.
Agent Lisben is the most annoying unconvincing character, she acts like a school girl- grunts and rolls eyes and says the most silly things- acts so righteous and in the next scene does the most unlawful act for Jane. There is no consistency and no brains, how did she ever become section head- while she can hardly ever close a case.
The casting for Lisben is also unconvincing, there is No air of authority - while the character is written very poorly granted, the execution is even worse.
Patrick Jane is though catchy at first, it quickly becomes super irritating, he is openly disrespectful to Lisben, does not even share anything with his team. His character is build up as if a superhero - he can chat, charm the socks off, gamble, do math, know so much about history, linguistics, ancient arts, puzzles blah blah. He is no more a human. His suffering and anguish is only visible by his sad face closeups but there is NO real character development from season 1 onward. A Dull attempt.

There is somthing about this drama. Maybe it is beautiful girl lead. The plot is all over the place especially after introduction of a ghost living in the boy and the villainish girl who is most irritating.
It is annoyingly irritating how the devilish girl is allowed to live in the same house and do all kind of evil things because the head shaman is SUDDENLY maternal. The same woman who never ever told younger girl about her. So it must be Years. Now suddenly she is giving all the leeway to her to cause '. Are these not evil crimes above your maternal insitinct.
The writing is jarring and idiotic, characters go out of character and then more. Bad screen play and dialogues. Still I find it watchable- must be the lead girl :) - boys are pathetic, main lead looks at least 30 years old and he is no not right for the role- Zero expression.

I loved both FL and ML from their earlier dramas. However here, the whole narrative is forced and unreal. ML's scepticism and lack of touch with emotions and CONSTANT WOODEN FACE is totally antagonizing. There is no need for such. For an intelligent man he is acting like an idiot. SO either he is or he is not.
The so much emphasis of the book and back story is even more jumbled up, no one really knows what the book was really and what real big atrocities he saw as a child. Everything is blown out of proportion.
........ The worst character development is FL; her upbeat nature is forced, she is allowed to do anything to people who care for her and she is a doormat to others. Pick a side girl. The make up is wrong, she is not like a person about to die in 3 months.
It is a badly written screen play. The cartoonish character development is so wrong- audience should know better- will at least I wish.
I stopped viewing when he ran to her to profess his love- Out of sudden she summoned and out of sudden he falls in love- just like their first kiss. Two great actors wasted by bad dialogues and screen play.
