Another review said a footage documentary can't be biased. That's nonsense. The key is what you leave in and what you leave out.
This documentary was a lot more effective early on, but it was still missing so much. Why not interview any friends or family of Susan Lorincz? Why not her attorney? I'm not saying she was innocent, but I am saying the film left some questions unanswered. Was she mentally ill as many claimed?
The film also derailed a bit at the end where it turned political, featured Al Sharpton of all people! And tried to make preach to us about stand your ground laws and race. It's notable the film didn't mention the overall stats on interracial shootings. I wonder why?

I was surprised this was a Gravitas Ventures film, because usually those films are so much more low-key and have a low budget feel. That wasn't the case here. This was definitely a stretch for them.
It's basically a remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, although some details are different. But it gives a new perspective to the story. I enjoyed it - and I'm not easy to please. My only quibble is that the cgi was a little weak (although it was made in 2015), and the film was a little short at 93 minutes. For this type of film, they could have fleshed out the story more.
