When i saw this movie trailer, i interested to watch this movie because the concept is unique and it involves 'afterlife' not in mystical or religion perception, but in science perception. I thought this movie will be an amazing horror movie with a lot of interesting aspect. But i was wrong. One of the good aspect in Flatliner is the prolog of the movie. First 30 minutes is good with nice plot, background character, and quite good story. It tells us about the young newbie doctor who did the experiment about brain activities when we already dead. I can say they succeed with the experiment, and have some good effect after done that experiment.

Then, it seems all falling apart when one by one are having side effect that terrorize and scaring them. The horror scene is like a low budget horror movie, but with nice touch of the background sound effect. Almost all of it seems weird, and many of it seems not clear. So, i think this movie just deserved to be given 5 star to be a horror movie that i expect more than that ! But it still be nice to watch if you are the one that like horror movie that involve some science in it.

Okay, the first one I like about this movie is the great prologue and have really good background story. The first 15 minutes about alien invasion and kidnapping almost all people is great ! But unfortunately, the rest of this movie is just decent and almost every point is below average. With low budget film, of course it cant be the amazing movie everyone expected. But it just seems failed with everything i see.

Character development with main role and his son, and everyone involved is just sucks and nothing feel emotional at all ! The story is just too plain, its really sucks if u expected some good story about alien invasion sci-fi movie. Every people who died is just like unimportant character and somehow feels really wrong. With this alien invasion type movie, the unity of humanity is really a must ! But nothing shows about unity in this movie and i really disappointed. I think this movie just deserve 4 out of 10 because only the good prologue and great martial arts choreography.

To be honest, I really satisfied after watching this movie because it is really fun, funny, and brings joy to the audience. They succeed again at making superhero movie with comedy style like Deadpool or Guardian of Galaxy. The jokes are good, and with experienced and well known actor like Tom Hiddleston, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Rufallo, and Idris Elba make this movie even better !

Marvel did the right decision to make this movie into comedy, because it makes this movie a lot more fresh and interesting to watch. Many people can enjoy this film and will make you feel happy till the end of the day !

But, I think at some point Thor Ragnarok is lacking many of important point. The plot seems decent with nothing special in the story, lacking some emotional touch and too many CGI effect involved sometimes make the movie kinda too unrealistic. And I feel a little disappointed with nothing special involved Loki. Loki is somehow that makes Thor movie and Avenger movie more interesting, with his sneaky tricky style sometimes pick a good side or bad side. At last, with the title Ragnarok that means the big war that can brings doom, I expect they can make this movie much better, not only some funny comedy movie !
