Who was this for?
The concept has great promise, but it's destroyed by bad writing and choices. Do we need to resurrect writers from the 80-90s to get something decent?
A tale following characters you don't care for, with a lot of cringeworthy dialog and storytelling.
You need to be a serious fangirl to like this.
Seems like Hollywood thinks that misusing beloved characters in trash production somehow will make it good.

What if this show didn't have good story writers?
What if the animators wasn't good at drawing?
What if Rick and Morty was suppose to be lame instead of funny?
This show answers these questions and is a perfect example of people trying to sell a bad product using something established and great.
This is not for people who like Rick and Morty, but if you hated the show - you can try to see if this is your thing. If you liked the original show, then you should not expect to get more of the good thing. For those of us who worship the real show, this is sacrilege.
Suggest revisiting old episodes of the original once more if you miss the dynamic duo.
