I guess they didn't have the money or care to reshoot or edit all the mess ups in this movie. From the handcuffs just falling off people's wrist to when he rammed the police cruiser with his car, magically both vehicles had zero damage to them. Among other poorly edited scenes and actions. Not sure how many movies will be made with this same plot over and over again. It's been. Done to death and not very interesting anymore. Don Johnson is better than this movie and he was cast for his name for obvious reasons. They wanted his name to carry this movie these fight scenes are almost comical to be honest.
Storyline that's been done so many times it's just boring. Jaimie Fox is good as always but Cameron Diaz is definitely not a Charlie's Angel anymore that's for sure. Looks and acting skills look faded. If you want to kill a few hours it's good enough for that but if you want to watch a good movie, I'd skip this one. It does feel like Netflix is just hiring all the past celebrities that come out of retirement just for a quick payday to do their movies. I can't remember the last really good Netflix movie I watched was. They just always seem like lazy writers and directors or maybe just ones that have no experience at movies yet to make their movies.
What an awful movie. Had a fun and enjoyable storyline but wow was it not executed at all! Some very bad writing and can we stop with the cheap juvenile humor in movies. I have came to the realization that Santino will say yes to any movie tossed his way. This movie and his last movie with Kevin Hart were both big swings and misses. I had hopes for this movie after seeing the trailer and the cast but this was a hard watch. As others said, Cena stole the show and he did the best he could with this poor script. I feel comedy is dead though. With all these movies going straight to streaming platforms, the product and quality of movies has disappeared.
