People thought this was as good as havoc... Don't know what they're thinking. This isn't even in the same league. It's Dreadfull russian accents from the English actors. Standard fare weve seen 100x before, instantly forgettable. Same as the film with Winona Ryder, meth dealers, redemption, all the shirebrook lad wants is a quite life, work construction eat a packed lunch, teach people how to swim. Who are you... does shirebrook tings init bruv. Ex army living in a car estranged from his kid. His boss is his family, though his boss sees him as a useful idiot here have lucre, I don't need it, yet can't afford a lawyer, man has principles higher than he values his relationship with his daughter. 5 snores in the boreometer.
People say wanted to like it but disappointed, not sure what they were watching. But it had strong John Woo hard boiled, replacement killers vibes. Amazing stunt work, solid story. Standard story drugs families kids, dirty cops, treachery, triad, cop does good in end. Yes an easy 7 for a Netflix film. Would have enjoyed this in IMAX. Worth watching for the last 40 minutes if nothing else. Tom hardy produced, and why not the guy worked hard, putting his martial arts skills to good use. Would certainly beat the tar out of the shirebrook lad. The fight scene choreography was on point never a dull moment when the fire got lit. Easy recommendation.
More than the enemy monsters. They really added nothing to the film. Except annoyance dumb rehashed mcu jokes, not even remotely amusing. Not even in the same league as the masterpiece like Godzilla minus 1. This will be my last one of these types of Godzilla movies they toss out tripe like this on a regular basis like EA churns out GaaS games that ultimately get shut down within a year. Why because they are poop. The Cranston one was good, then the Farminga one wasn't bad, though the milly brown family aspect made it cringe. Soon as we got to the ones with ms hall and skarsgard they went down the pan and in the gutter. All flashy bright colors felt like we were watching iron man. Such a shame because Godzilla Kong and the creatures really tried to carry the human cast. But every scene these collection of humans were in we wanted them to meet a grizzly end. Such a farcry from Godzilla Minus 1 directed by Takashi Yamazaki.
