What a disturbing and real movie...masterpiece; if you're accustomed to the usual Hollywood thrillers/villains then don't watch it; if you're spoonfed with no brain Hollywood type thrillers then don't watch it; if you're expecting car chasing fill with guns and explosions then don't watch it; if you're expecting a Rambo type of film (think some of the raters expected something like it...) then don't watch it....but in the other hand if you're expecting an intelligent, cerebral, slow paced with fantastic performances and political/racism current themes without being preacher, then watch it !! This is the type of movies that would make you feel "uncomfortable" so don't expect to come out feeling heart-lightened and optimistic...on the contrary !!! As we say here in Mexico..."Hey that Hannibal Lecter dude is a real mean SOB..." Tomasz would tell you rolling his sleeves..."hold my Tecate cabron..." (Tecate is a famous beer in Mexico...)
Great horror/drama film...quite different from what Hollywood have us accustomed to it. Highly recommend it. Slow and paced history that builds itself intelligently; I was not expecting the ending but leaves you thinking and with some philosophical lesson. Not much violence nor gore scenes involved.
This movie is a must if you are fan of the space years in the 60's where it all begun....good thriller with drama and accurate comic scenes...a good and interesting Russian movie based in the 60's but no political propaganda at all...I recommend it if you want to try something different than the usual Hollywood flick.
