The movie is not as bad as people say but it is not that great either. The final ending was bad and some mistakes are present which are present in every other. The movie still has that X-Men movie feel to it and there is a few good things in the movie. Politics involved inside is that you can see that they shot a different movie and some adjustments can be seen. A few questions I'd like to pose is why is Sony's partnership with marvel not criticized as that of Fox's. They have forced some narratives. They didn't give the antagonist any background or anything. To put it in simple terms X-Men did a Batman Vs Superman. They have eliminated a lot of scenes or didn't shoot the scenes required. Seeing from the budget they might have shot those scenes. And now the politics involved outside. The audience aren't going to be satisfied by this because they deserved a better ending to this X-Men tale. People who are saying Sophie Turner was the only good thing in the movie are clearly wrong, she did a commendable role which was not given to her in all the previous installments. Attention on her is to drive her ahead because of her recent popularity and push her forward. To sum it up Disney did a good job to show that only their movies will be good. The kid who sat in front of me was talking the whole movie about Spiderman(mostly and was asking if mystique was a woman Spiderman) and wolverine. When I saw the rating it was 5.8 and it has risen to 6 and it shows fans of this franchise and I wanted to be a part of it that's why I've rated it 10 too.
It has better mythos for a monster and has a lot of raw natural emotions of it's world. The work done for the behavior of the monsters is greatly visible. The sound effects were soo on point that at times the whole theatre was shaking. The world of these monsters is lovable and makes you feel like being there
This movie is not like other animations. It is beautiful, colorful and cheery. It also has some interesting existential and intelligent parts that is applicable to both kids and growing adults. The ideals of the movie defines how animation movies should be rather than just having slapstick comedies stuffed on your face. There was still some places where the movie could have become legendary.
