A heartwarming snapshot of life in a northern town in England during a time of serious upheaval in the coal mining industry. This wonderful film will bring you to tears as you reflect on the impact pit closures had on communities. Be sure to have your tissues handy.
Filmed on Crete in the Prefecture of Chania this is a charming coming of age film. A sweet story of the hopes and dreams of a group of young boys in the late 60's before mass tourism. Beautifully filmed it has a simple story line and narrates the simplicity of youth. From reading some other reviews, it's clearly too subtle for some people.
