Another in a series of disappointments from the workshop of the "entertainment industry".
This is a parody of the first two films. Yes, the first two films had flaws, but they were interesting and watchable. This is not.
Starting from the fact that of course the priest has to be a madman and a villain, to the hilarious characters who seem to have come out of some Mel Brooks parody.
A little stupid dialogue, then a little mediocre action, then a little more stupid dialogue and finally the characters who turn into some superheroes from Marvel movies who perform stunts as if they had superpowers.
They even managed to throw in a few "lessons", unaware that by doing so they are only causing an ever-increasing counter-effect.
A total waste of time.

Predictable disappointment considering the statements made by the director and some of the actors.
Red Sonja is a character created, along with Conan, Solomon Kane and others, by the brilliant Robert E. Howard.
This character in the film is a hilarious parody of that character. Today's writers and directors often think they know better than the original creators of these characters and try to "modernize" them. If "modernize" sounds like a bad thing to you, that's because it is.
In addition to the film being poorly written and mediocrely directed, the casting is mostly terrible.
Starting with the main actress, who at times looks like a 12-year-old boy with no muscle mass, and it's funny how her hair color varies.
The fight scenes are pathetic, slow and you can see that the actors are out of shape.
The only character who showed promise is Petra, but of course, that didn't happen either.
No wonder the movie only played for one day in cinemas, because this is not even worth watching in the cinema.
They even managed to squeeze some "lessons" into the movie. Typical "modern film production".
I watched this movie for free and I still want my money back. The movie company should pay me compensation for the time I irretrievably lost watching this trash.

Another disappointment from Disney.
I didn't really have any hopes that this would be something special, because it is Disney's company after all, and Disney has become known as a franchise destroyer. But I gave the series a chance.
There's a lot of illogical action here, but that's down to a bad script and sometimes laughable dialogue.
Add to that a soundtrack that doesn't match the "Alien" franchise at all, and you have a recipe for disaster.
The main actress looks like a 12 year old boy, a completely bizarre choice. But it's Disney, so things like that don't surprise us that much anymore.
The Alien movies were really something special, at least the first two, but also the others, although the inferior, were at least somewhat watchable. Yes, some were pretty bad. But this is another "modern film production". The Alien franchise is meant for adults, this is another series for teenagers.
Today most movies and series are unwatchable precisely because mediocre writers write scripts.
Talent doesn't matter in the "entertainment industry" anymore anyway, other things have become more important. Yes, maybe the writers have to throw in some things, otherwise their show won't get funded. So, maybe it's not all their fault.
Disney has once again justified its reputation as a franchise destroyer. Too bad, this could have been interesting.
