Wow.
It's been a long time since I've seen such realness, both in storyline and in chemistry between two leads. But I was so pleasantly surprised. The situations are just so believable and recognizable. And I just loved how smooth and confident Brody's character was and the vulnerability Bell was able to bring to hers.
My favorite, however, is Sasha, I just really like how he's s little bit like a comic relief guy, but nuanced and interesting on his own, also his complex relationship with Esther - I liked how it's portrayed in a humorous, yet still loving, way.
So bottom line, if you like anything romantic, funny, cute, exciting, yet believable with a strong cast, this is your watch!

Lovely to see Diaz back on screen.
However, already 5 minutes in, the dialogue revealed itself as lacking and cringe in most places. Very unnatural and even two great actors couldn't act their way around that.
Another very annoying thing was the overexplaining. The movie didn't trust its audience to have ever watched a movie before apparently. The camera often lingered way to much on one shot, so we wouldn't miss the obvious. That pulled away from the flow of the movie.
Decent action scenes, but nothing out of the ordinary, ok storyline, but seen before obviously. Suddenly Glen Close showed up with a very heavy accent.
Well, we watched it and it was fine, but sadly it tipped more to the 'not worth a watch' side than 'worth a watch'.

Ok, so I didn't have such high expectations to begin with... But the movie was actually worse. And that rarely happens for me. So I immediately came to these reviews to see if others had the same thoughts. They did.
The storyline is so unbelievably thin and unrealistic, also very cliché. The comedy is only on point 1/3 on the time and the nudity for nudity's sake was just.. weird? Like sunbathing with boobs out, I get, but later same character bends over and you see her boobs under her shirt - and it's not even mentioned in the scene, like why then?
I do like Glen Powell, but he of course gets a very limited range to act within.
So yeah.. disappointed really.
