Three long and drawn out episodes of this rather dreary re-telling of 'Agatha Christies' Ordeal by innocence.. The characters are wooden and dislikeable..!

One becomes lost and in fact, a little bored during the long overdrawn and repetitive storyline that keeps changing with each character.. How and why, does it take three episodes to come to an overall conclusion then, to change the whole storyline is ludicrous..

I'm sorry but, it had become too much for me to continue watching, that I begun forwarding each of the episodes until I had finally reached the end.. Bill Nighy wasn't his usual self. He did not add anything to his character what-so-ever.

He delivered such a cold, meaningless and wooden performance. He was unrecognisable as himself, until the end..🙄 Matthew Goodes' character was the only recognisable one of the lot..!

This three part drama is really one to avoid 😒 The BBC certainly didn't pull out all of the stops on this one. Rather dropped a clanger with this one I'm afraid.. 'Agatha Christie' would be so disappointed in the assassination of her characters and, the overall lacking of the suspense factor..😕 I do not recommend that you watch this 3 parter of 'Ordeal By Innocence'. Try the 'Miss Marple' version..😉 Much more like the real thing..

How great to was to see The Duke in good Ol' London.. 'Brannigan' is one of those 'John Wayne' movies that you can watch repeatedly.. A stella British cast support that includes 'Sir Richard Attenborough', and the loveable 'Judy Gleeson', amongst others.. It was lovely to see the London landscape used extensively in this movie. It was an inspiration to see 'John Wayne' playing a Chicago detective in good Ol' London, there to catch a wanted mafia criminal gangster escapee A Great action flik, that keeps you glued to your seat., Big 'Jake' at his best..!

This was one of his Waynes' last movies due to his long on-going illnesses at the time. Although, one would never have known at the time that he'd recently had a serious operation. That's how professional, strong and convincing he really was. He's nearly 70 years old when 'Brannigan' was made, and he's still as active and agile as ever.!

They don't make them like they used to (men I mean..😉). He was one of the very best. An original, a phenomenon actor, and one hell of a man. May he rest in peace 🙏 I really recommend this fab' movie 👌 God be with you Duke..

Mimi Rodgers was absolutely Wonderful and really shone in this Movie, so genuine and funny too.

One of the most enjoyable of Xmas movies to date. I loved the theme and the family as a whole..!

I wish that this was repeated more regularly on tv.. I haven't seen this 97 movie in years and, it's hard to find on dvd too.. A sentimental and warm story that touches the heart.. The cast are great (well chosen) Marla Maples inc' Thumbs Up For 'The Christmas List' 👍🏼A must see..!
