The second half of Raghu Dakat is more engaging. The detailing, costumes, and set design are excellent. Though I was worried about the VFX, it turned out better. For me, the emotional aspect worked the most, and Dev is truly the soul of the film.
The editing is good to go, the characters got their space, and whenever things felt slow, the action scenes lifted the pace. Sohini, Rupa Ganguly, Om, and Idhika are major strengths of the film, while Anirban did a decent job. Visuals are stunning.
On the downside-too many songs were unnecessarily added, and the first half could have been tighter. We are lagging for good writers. Since the film itself mentions that it's not meant to align strictly with history, what we get is neat, clean entertainment. Definitely worth a watch.
I will watch Devi choudhurani too. Raktabeej2 wouldn't watch because I've heared pathetic reviews.

It was Superbly success at box office , because audience was loved the movie . What a screenplay . What a magnificent performance by Dev Srabanti Soham Mimi . One of the finest movie of 2015 . Touched
