I had never heard of this nonsense until DoctorMike reacted to some of it on his channel. I believe the most relevant quote he had about it was, "Is this trying to kill me with how bad it is?" And it is indeed so bad that is a perfectly legitimate question to be asking about it. Acting: terrible. Dialogue & writing: terrible. Plot & story: unfortunately terrible. Take a medical drama like "The Pit" & imagine the exact opposite of that show in every possible and meaningful way. Not relevant nor realistic, poorly performed and presented, overall an insult to its audience members and all their general intelligence.
I agree with Pete Davidson in this Eddie Murphy documentary when he says that the voice of the donkey in Shrek may be the greatest comedy performance or indeed any performance in any animated movie in history. Eddie reveals it was very draining to do because of the loud emotions & yelling, so I'd like Eddie to know that his many fans appreciate how he is ALWAYS giving the proverbial 110% on the big screen. If you're one of those fans, make sure to watch this.
I know what you've been thinking ever since "Parks and Recreation" went off of the air: When will our beloved Ron Swanson (a.k.a. Nick Offerman) finally get to sink his teeth into the meaty dramatic role of Chester Arthur? Well, when the great actor Michael Shannon finally gets to portray the slain 19th century POTUS, James A. Garfield (and the great actress, Betty Gilpin, to play his wife), that's when! Duh, obviously. And this four-part limited mini-series fits this biographical bill just perfectly. It's highly recommended!
