Hazbin Hotel returns with Season 2, Episode 1, and while it's a visually stunning ride (as expected), this opener functions more as a prologue than a proper premiere. Most of the episode is dedicated to laying the groundwork for what's to come. We get a deeper look into what the characters feel after the finale of season 1, but not much really happens in terms of plot progression.
I love everything about this series, but in this episode I was so fascinated with the camera work to the point that I had to make a review praising it! I will give you an example and try not to make any spoilers, but there is a scene where a phone displays a satellite map similar to Google Maps, it shows a moving veichle, and then there is a transitition to a drone shot (at least I think that it was made with a drone, could have been an helicopter) and it is the exact area that the map was showing, and it showed a real car in the place of the icon. You have to see it to fully understand the beauty of it!
Lorenzini and Monti sneak into the studio and opening of Fatti e Misfatti. Marco Berry searches for Giuliano Ferrara in Florence, where he also runs into MPs Tortoli and Baldi. Peppe Quintale visits the Minelli family to measure noses, travels to Palermo's stadium, and unsuccessfully tries to measure Liza Minnelli's nose - settling for her poster instead. Lillo and Greg go to the Men in Black premiere and compete to sell the most popcorn in a theater full of VIPs, including Paolo Bonolis.
