This, for me, was the best film of the first 4 months of 2025. It is a proper entertainment film as films used to be and, any plot goofs etc are just not worth bothering about. The story is highly original and the working of a romance into the story is subtle magnificence. There is a great build up to each part, of the revealed pieces of information unveiling the story's secrets.
The horror aspect of the film is in no way terrifying but, the revealed images of the 78 year secrets are incredibly unique originals (I have never seen the likes of their designs in the thousands of films I have watched over my many years).
A romping good top entertainment that I suspect will be of great enjoyment to the masses.

I will always sit and watch films of this genre/ilk, hoping that it will have a lot more originality to it than previous offerings. But, yet again I was not witness to anything original; though it is a watchable film.
The poster is great to garnish an interest from a potential viewer and, the monkey is a scary looking freak; but that's not good enough though. Lighting. Camera work were flawless, in my humble opinion, and the actors all did a more than adequate job; so the film was not boring to watch.
The films only problem for me was that it lacked that scary, tense and threatening atmosphere. So no jumping out of my skin or cold sweat moments...lol.
Worth watching...go for it!

The only surprise in this film is Mark Wahlberg playing a psychopathic killer/hitman; not something I'm used to seeing him portray. For me, the downside to this film was the highly annoying, pain in the neck, FBI witness/informant/prisoner; I wanted him thrown out of the plane but that would have been the end of the film, lol.
Wahlberg and the FBI agent , played by Michelle Dockery, acted perfectly and kept the tension going throughout the drama.
The script was written well but excluded a great many things that would have been done in real life; especially by an FBI agent. There is no location but the inside plane compartment but the camera work is good and the entire film is sharp and clear.
At the end there is a very good additional twist but, you are going to have to watch it to see it...I'm saying nothing!
