The story is about an urban gay guy coming to village, so to make his boyfriend realise his love for him who is going to get married to another girl due to societal and family pressure. Set in the backdrop of village it sets the field right with its opening episodes itself capturing the stereotypes well. And here the masterstroke is sidestory of bhakti an ennuch.
The series does justice to its plot and message with well written nuanced characters, tight screenplay , stellar performances by the cast. The romance bw Sid and rohit, dadi and chottu sweet bond, bhakti's back story , innocence of sid's fiance all captures the interest of viewers. But the beauty of the series is its smooth transition bw comedy , sensitivity , drama and emotion
Special mention has to be given to the songs and poetry that add depth to the characters and plot.
But the biggest drawback of the series is the coming out scene which was rather get so easily sort down away from reality. another problem is with the way the suspense of sid's uncle gets revealed . My ratings would be like 8.8 extras only for its bold concept
