  • A Christmas classic!

A quirky classic that is right up there with A Christmas story, home alone, Scrooged.... I don't understand why so many low ratings. It's a kid friendly family movie. Yes Arnold is basically "Arnold" in everyone of his movies. Long before the Rock or Vin Diesel there was "Arnold" but he's funny. And anything with Phil Hartman or John Candy will always get my vote. Phil feels like a SNL character has been transplanted into the role, it's that artificial facade that makes him that more hilarious. Lastly, Sinbad in his better days is a treat to watch. Makes me miss the 90s.

  • I don't do musicals

Wasn't expecting a musical to movie adaption to be a complete musical. And the musical numbers were lackluster at best. If you can find it on Prime it's worth checking out if you are completely curious. And perhaps worth buying if you are into musicals. But 93% of this is a song and dance break out. Listen if the 7% of this movie that consisted of normal dialogue encompassed 100% of the movie then these guys would have had a huge hit on their hands. I think the folks that saw this and were bamboozled by the marketing will not see the sequel and I'm thinking there will be a huge drop off as far as who's willing to go back for seconds.

  • 2hrs and 6 minutes of talkative pain......

I knew already that I wasn't going to watch this in the theater. I also wasn't planning to watch it on streaming, but I decided if I was going to catch Fantastic Four I needed to do my home work.... In the first 3 scenes there will be endless talking about nothing. And the voice is so low and dry that I had to turn my volume up to the max and still barely heard anyone mumble. And the talking just goes on and on and on. Feels like I'm watching eternals again. If you like soap operas then you will like this....but if you grew up avoiding As the World Turns, then this is not the action movie to watch. Boring.
